The Brief

The Hickenlooper campaign was looking for a digital brand that would underscore his qualifications, elevate his expertise, thoughtfully differentiate him from his predecessors, authentically capture his character, and be set up to scale required of a state campaign—all within a compressed 100-day timeline.


Through a fast creative process led by our team and collaborative iteration with the campaign, we were able to create a brand and website for what was hailed as a near-flawless launch. We continued to work with the campaign and iterate on the brand, designs, and website between August 2019 and November 2020, when the Senator ultimately won the race. We produced the following digital deliverables: visual brand, launch landing page with integrations for email sign up and donations, fully custom website, integration with analytical tools, web accessibility audit and improvements, design and coding for sign up forms and donation pages and more.

For a campaign that needed to reach the broadest audience possible. We invested special effort in creating a website that hews closely WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards, loads quickly, and works exceptionally easily on mobile devices.
